Jules Rizzo is the co-founder and artistic director of Impermanent Gallery. After graduating from Denison University in 2024 in Dance and English, she joined Whirlwind Dance in Columbus, OH. Before her graduation, she began her professional career with Dancing Wheel Company where she earned her Physically Integrated Dance Teacher Certification. Jules also spent time in Shibuya, Japan training at En Dance Studio during college. In addition to her work with Impermanent Gallery in Charleston, Jules Rizzo's dance film "To be or not to be" was shown at Motion in Frame 2, and she will be presenting work at SCDT's WIP showcase in MA this fall. As the youngest artistic director in South Carolina, Jules aims to give a voice to emerging dancers and choreorgraphers.
